Contemporary, developing, and proposed technology initiatives build the emerging foundation for naval TAMD. This appendix identifies many of the significant technology initiatives transforming naval warfare. The listing of representative projects and systems supports the assertions which are central to the concept. The fate of individual projects is unimportant, particularly for the purposes of this concept paper. The guiding ideas and purposes shared by these projects are important, and the findings from these experiments will be incorporated into the resulting operational systems which are delivered to the Fleet and the Fleet Marine Force.
