RUSSIA READY TO SELL INDIA NUCLEAR SUBMARINE. The deputy
director of "Rosoboroneksport", Viktor Komarin told "Vremya
Novostei" on 15 February that Russia is ready to sell the
Indian navy a Russian-built nuclear submarine. Talks about
doing so began in 1998 but were suspended when India joined
the nuclear club. Earlier, in 1988, New Delhi rented a
Soviet submarine.
