COLONEL "HAWK" CARLISLE

    Colonel "Hawk" Carlisle is the commander of the 1st Operations Group, 1st Fighter Wing, Langley Air Force Base, Va.
    Colonel Carlisle attended the United States Air Force Academy and graduated in 1978. He was the deputy commander of 18th Operations Group, Kadena Air Base, Japan, before assuming his current position. He is a command pilot with more than 2,800 flying hours in five different fighter aircraft.
