1.  MISSION.  TO PROVIDE A PORTION OF THE CORPS AREA
MOBILE SUBSCRIBER EQUIPMENT (MSE) COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM.

2.  ASSIGNMENT.  11435L100 ORGANIC TO A HVY CORPS SIGNAL BDE,
TOE 11400L200. TOE 11435L200 AND 11435L300 ARE ORGANIC TO THE
ABN CORPS SIG BDE, TOE 11400L400.

3.  CAPABILITIES.

    A.  At Level 1, this unit provides:
        (1) TOE 11435L100:
              (a) Six Node Center Switches and One Large Ext Switch
                  (LES).
              (b) Forty Small Extension Node (SEN) Switches
              (c) Thirteen Radio Access Units  (RAU)
              (d) Seventy-two Line-Of-Sight (LOS) Radios and
                  one additional LOS for NATO interface.
              (e) Two NATO interface terminals
              (f) Net Radio Interface (NRI) located with each node to be
                  deployed with a SEN.
              (g) DS maintenance of organic C-E and COMSEC equipment.

        (2) TOE 11435L200:
              (a) Six Node Center Switches and One Contingency
                  Communication Package (CCP) Node.
              (b) Thirty-six Small Ext Node (SEN) Switches
                  and Two CCP Extension Switches.
              (c) Twelve Radio Access Units
              (d) Seventy LOS Radios and one additional LOS for NATO
                  Interface
              (e) Two NATO Interface terminals
              (f) Net Radio Interface (NRI) located with each node plus
                  an additional NRI at each CCP extension.
              (g) DS maintenance of organic C-E and COMSEC equipment.

        (3) TOE 11435L300:
              (a) Seven Node Center Switches and no LES
              (b) Forty Small Ext Node (SEN) Switches.
              (c) Fourteen Radio Access Units.
              (d) Seventy-five LOS radios plus an additional LOS for
                  NATO Interface
              (e) Two NATO Interface terminals
              (f) Net Radio Interface (NRI) located with each node
                  deployed with a SEN.
              (g) DS maintenance of organic C-E and COMSEC equipment.

    B.  THE COLUMNS UNDER LEVELS 2 AND 3 ADAPT THIS TABLE
FOR REDUCED OPERATIONAL CAPABILITIES IN DECREMENTS OF 10%,
FROM APPROXIMATELY 90% FOR LEVEL 2 TO APPROXIMATELY 80% FOR
LEVEL 3.

    C.  THIS UNIT IS NOT ADAPTABLE TO A TYPE B ORGANIZATION.

    D.  THE COLUMNS DESIGNATED BY LEVEL 1 THROUGH 3 ARE
DESIGNED TO RELATE TO THE CATEGORIES ESTABLISHED BY
AR220-1, UNIT STATUS REPORTING.

    E.  INDIVIDUALS OF THIS ORGANIZATION, EXCEPT THE
CHAPLAIN, CAN ASSIST IN THE COORDINATED DEFENSE OF THE
UNIT AREA OR INSTALLATION.

    F.  THIS UNIT PERFORMS UNIT MAINTENANCE ON ALL ORGANIC
EQUIPMENT.

    G.  THIS UNIT IS DEPENDENT ON:

        (1) APPROPRIATE ELEMENTS OF THE CORPS FOR LEGAL,
HEALTH SERVICE SUPPORT, FINANCE, AND PERSONNEL AND ADMIN-
ISTRATIVE SERVICES.

        (2) COMMAND AVIATION BATTALION (CORPS), TOE
01415L000, FOR AIRCRAFT SUPPORT FOR COMMAND AND CONTROL OF
DISPERSED SITES, EVACUATION AND REPLACEMENT OF CRITICAL
EQUIPMENT, AERIAL MOVEMENT OF MAINTENANCE CONTACT TEAMS,
AND SITE RECONNAISSANCE.

4.  BASIS OF ALLOCATION.

    A. 11435L100: three per Hvy Corps Sig Bde 11400L200

    B. 11435L200: one per Abn Corps Sig Bde 11400L400

    C. 11435L300: one per Abn Corps Sig Bde 11400L400.


5.  CATEGORY.  THIS UNIT IS DESIGNATED A CATEGORY II UNIT.
