INTRO:  A SENTENCING DATE IN THREE WEEKS HAS BEEN SET FOR TERRY 
NICHOLS WHO WAS CONVICTED OF CO-CONSPIRING TO BOMB THE OKLAHOMA 
CITY FEDERAL BUILDING WHERE 168 PEOPLE DIED IN APRIL OF 1995.  
LEE FRANK REPORTS FROM THE FEDERAL COURT HOUSE IN DENVER.

TEXT:  JUDGE RICHARD MATSCH ANNOUNCED A PRE-SENTENCING HEARING 
THAT HE WILL ORDER NICHOLS TO PAY 14-POINT-FIVE MILLION DOLLARS 
RESTITUTION - THE AMOUNT EQUALS THE ORIGINAL CONSTRUCTION COST 
FOR THE OKLAHOMA CITY FEDERAL BUILDING.  BOMBING VICTIMS WANT THE
FINANCIAL PENALTY TO ASSURE THAT NICHOLS NEVER MAKES MONEY 
SELLING HIS STORY.

MARSHA KIGHT'S DAUGHTER DIED IN THE EXPLOSION.

AT THE SENTENCING HEARING ON JUNE FOURTH JUDGE MATSCH CAN IMPOSE 
UP TO A LIFE PRISON TERM FOR NICHOLS.  THE JUDGE SAID HUMAN 
SUFFERING CAUSED BY THE OKLAHOMA CITY BOMBING RESULTED IN A 
PRICELESS LOSS.  (SIGNED)
